The students’ team of Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University is the winner of 2014 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Armenian National Round.
Օne of the most important things here is the ability to master the nuances of international law and to be able to reply the judges’ questions precisely.
On 12 February 2012, at 13:00 p.m., after accomplishment of the Final Oral Round of the National Competition of the 2012 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the solemn award ceremony took place.
This year for the first time, the winner team of the National Competition was awareded the Armenian Jessup Cup.
Miss Gayane Makaryan from Vanadzor State Pedagogical Institute named after Hovhannes Toumanyan was recognized the best oralist of the Competition.
The written memorial of our team was announced the fifth in “Alona E. Evans” nomination in the International Round.
The Armenian Young Lawyers Association, the Law Foundation of Armenia and “LEGAL ALLIANCE” Law Firm were the co-organizers of the Competition this year.
Mr. Thomas D.Mittnacht, Public Affairs Officer of the US Embassy in Armenia, congratulated the teams and wished successful participation of the winner team in the International Round in Washington.
