Armenian Round of the 2010 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Accomplished

The written memorial of our team was announced the fifth in “Alona E. Evans” nomination in the International Round.
The Armenian Young Lawyers Association, the Law Foundation of Armenia and “LEGAL ALLIANCE” Law Firm were the co-organizers of the Competition this year.
Mr. Thomas D.Mittnacht, Public Affairs Officer of the US Embassy in Armenia, congratulated the teams and wished successful participation of the winner team in the International Round in Washington.
The Conference had written and oral rounds. 21 students from the law schools of Yerevan, as well as from the regions had applied for participation in the conference.
The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is being held since 1959 in over 90 countries of the world. The Competition is named after Judge Philip C. Jessup.
The team from the Law Department of the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University will take part in the International Round of the Jessup Moot Court Competition in Washington on March 27 – April 2.
